You see. There’s this HUGE like really really.. i mean humongous.. absolutely gigantic myth around this so called 30 minutes of exercise 3 times per week business. Everybody is led to believe that If you workout 30 minutes, 3 times per week your going to loose weight and live healthy. Which by no means is wrong… unless you want to loose your desired weight target in the next 3 decades!!
The point I’m trying to make here is that low intensity workouts at 30 – 45 minutes per pop does nothing if you are trying to loose weight fast. I mean if you are trying to loose weight slow then by all means keep doing what your doing but most people want to loose weight fast!
Wouldn’t It be easier if you could loose 4x as much weight in literally half the time?
Of course it would. You would be an idiot to say no!
The thing is you can do that!
Its called Interval Training or otherwise known as High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T).
It is by far the quickest way to burn fat and when combined with foods that burn belly fat your weight loss dreams will soon become a reality!
So what is Interval Training then?
Interval training is a way of working out that requires relatively short bursts of “very intense” exercise, followed by “recovery” periods. (These “recovery” periods do not, however, require supportive meetings in church basements, bad coffee, or turning anything over to a higher power.) Just gasping for air and cursing.
Think you will need to take your favourite book with you to read whilst you workout? Think again. Interval Training takes no prisoners. If you want to read a book, go to a library.
Here’s how it works.
You warm up for about 5 minutes.
You can use what ever piece of equipment you prefer. I personally prefer to use the rowing machine. Its great for an all-round workout. But you can use the bike, the treadmill its up to you.
Then you go all out and give it everything you’ve got for about 30 seconds or so depending on your current fitness level. So basically you haul ass!! (excuse my french!)
Then you rest for 30 seconds and repeat this until you cant repeat no more.
And what you will find over time if you stay consistent is that you will see your fat literally start melting off you and your fitness levels will go through the roof!
Interval Training is used everyday by world class soccer players all over the world! (no wonder they have such low body fat percentages)
Also just incase you thought I was making this stuff up.. There are numerous studies that show high intesity workouts in as little as 20 minutes can be more effective than a 2 hour low-to-moderate workout such as a jog. Click here to see what Wikipedia have to say!
